|Christopher J. Obudho has been a public communications specialist since 1994, and has worked with some of the top political and public relations efforts in the Southwest and Northeast. Currently, Mr. Obudho is a freelance writer who specializes in Web-based content, press releases, opinion-editorials and articles.|
Mr. Obudho has served as campaign manager for two nationally-targeted, victorious congressional campaigns, Jim Gerlach in Pennsylvania (2004) and Mike Ferguson in New Jersey (2002). Mr. Obudho has also developed campaign strategies for candidates for state representative, public regulation commission, county commission and mayor in New Mexico, as well as voter-contact and outreach strategies for the New Jersey Republican State Committee. He has also worked with both corporate and non-profit clients as a public affairs director for the MWW Group. In addition to his public communications work, Chris writes fiction in various genres.
Mr. Obudho was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and attended high school in Florence Township. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served as a Security Policeman in Missouri, Indiana and New Mexico, as well as on an overseas assignment in Turkey during the first Gulf War. He attended New Mexico State University and took courses at the Community College of the Air Force.
After working in politics from 1994 through 2007, Mr. Obudho decided to take a break and travel the country as an over-the-road truck driver. Upon returning to New Jersey, Mr. Obudho started a blog, (Intermittent Rambling), began coursework at Mercer County College (where he is studying for a degree in political and legal studies), and founded his company, CJOC: Quality Writing Services.
